Connestee Falls
Nestled in the cool foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Connestee Falls was designed to preserve the natural envirinment. Golf course architect George W. Cobb created this challenging 6400 yard par 72 course against a spectacular backdrop of the mountains and forest. Cummings Cove

Graysburg Hills
Graysburg Hill's 27 hole family owned and operated course opened for play in 1978. The Knobs and Fodderstack Nines were designed by Rees Jones. The Chimney Top Nine was designed by Edward Lawrence Packard and opened for play in 1994.     

The Grove Park Resort Inn & Spa
The Golf Course at The Grove Park Inn Resort Inn & Spa first opened for play in 1899 and was redesigned in 1924 by Donald Ross. The 6,720-yard, par 70 layout is a shot maker's challenge with emphasis on accuracy rather than power. From beneath the crest of Sunset Mountain, the players' ascent from the somewhat flat, yet undulating front nine to the gentle slopes and sometimes steep inclines and descents of the back nine, all offering spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This course is immaculately maintained and is considered one of the finest conditioned courses in North Carolina. Mount Mitchell
The Mount Mitchell Golf Club has been rated four and a half stars (out of five) by Golf Digest Magazine. It is a player friendly par 72, with no blind shots and scenery that makes it hard to keep your mind on golf. It features bent grass tees, greens and fairways. Rock Barn
The Rock Barn Golf & Spa, site of the Champions Tour event ... The Greater Hickory Classic

" Champion's Course " The Robert Trent Jones layout is the more challenging of Rock Barn's courses and is truly a championship course. It takes full advantage of the terrain as well as Lyle Creek which meanders throughout the property. Each hole has its own unique characteristics. Since the Jones course opened in 2002, it has been named America's 4 th best course in it's category by Golf Digest. The Jones course was awarded the best new course in the state by North Carolina Magazine. In 2003, it was chosen by the Professional Golf Association as an annual stop for the PGA Tour's Champions Tour event, the Greater Hickory Classic . It's no wonder this course attracts the biggest names in the golf world.

" Tom Jackson Course " The Tom Jackson Course is the less demanding of the two award winning courses. It features a number of elevation changes, and demands that you put emphasis on positioning the ball in the fairway. This signature course appeals to golfers of all levels and handicaps offering a selection of tees to provide a suitable length for all stretching out to over 6500 yards. The Jackson course is truly a great golf experience, earning a rating of 4 ½ stars out of a possible 5 by golf digest.


Sequoyah National
Owned by the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation, and managed by Troon Golf of Scottsdale, Arizona, this Robert Trent Jones II design offers golfers an idyllic 18 hole journey, filled with scenic vistas, beautiful landscapes and challenging golf. Native American golf pro Notah Begay III was the design consultant for what is considered to be one of the most dynamic golf courses in Western North Carolina. The course features integrated iconic images with views of the majestic Clingmans Dome peak, the Snowbird Mountain range and the historic Thomas Valley. Sequoyah has been rated the second best course built in 2009 that you can play in the United States by Golf Magazine.   MORE

Silver Creek Plantation
Silver Creek Plantation is a 364-acre championship golf course and residential community that opened in November 1995.
